program was written based on the previous DOS based version
of Dr. Chong. With this new Web approach, users
can be located anywhere in the world with a 28.8 Kbps

Upgrading from version 1,
version 2 of MRPDSS/NET is much more scalable. The
system is open for different Databases using SQL commands.
Per Web Server, it can handle multiple sets of database.
This best fits for Application Service Providers, school

It was a centralized systems
to remote monitor and to control a mixture of existing
telecommunication devices. The project was an integrated
software/hardware turnkey solution built on Web and TCP/IP
technologies. At each monitored location, the system has
a Web server, connected to adjacent telecommunication
devices via serial ports. The Web server then interfaces
with the network via its Ethernet port with a static IP
address. |
